Helicopter Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)
The IHS Team have extensive knowledge in the planning, establishing and operating of Rotary Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities operating to the local National Aviation Authority (NAA) regulations and the major worldwide regulations overseen by EASA and the FAA. Our experiences encompass small to large MROs and supporting component MRO facilities. We can support the creation of a small line station dedicated to an operator working in any rotary sector, the provision of SAR or HEMS services to a base maintenance facility including structural integrity and corrosion prevention/control programmes. Our senior management team are all practising senior MRO managers, who have held a range of regulatory approved positions within airline and independent MRO providers. These individuals can be supported by a range of Quality Assurance professionals, with a project specific background.
We can provide the necessary support, and advice, required to extend your current NAA approval to add an EASA Part 145 approval. Most projects start with our team being commissioned to undertake a full MRO feasibility study to local NAA and International Standards, which will provide costed options and solutions for investors and clients approval. Our Rotary Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul services include:
- MRO Feasibility Studies
- MRO Planning & Architectural Design
- MRO Build & Project Management
- Support with MRO Staff appointments, particularly Post Holders
- MRO Management & Operation (also restructuring)
- EASA Part 145 Consultancy
- Advice and guidance on the selection of MRO systems, software and tooling suppliers
