Pilot, Crew & Engineer Training for every Helicopter platform

Our Training department is manned by experienced instructors from all Services within the British Military and is split into two separate fixed-wing and rotary-wing departments, their backgrounds range from Attack Helicopter to tactical C130J with teaching experience from Operational flying training to basic instruction.

Our rotary instructors have experience across the whole breadth of helicopter training, from basic instruction within the UK Defence Helicopter Flying School (DHFS) to advanced and tactical training on Operational Conversion Flights and front-line units. We have front and rear-crew training staff to cover the full range of concurrent-crew training. We also have specialist staff instructors who have worked within the world-renowned Central Flying School (Helicopters) Squadron (CFS(H) Sqn) and are familiar and conversant with current instructor and ‘train-the-trainer’ packages.

Whilst our Fixed-wing Instructors have experience from ab-intio to Tactical techniques, we also have our own in house Standardisation and Examination units with representatives from all 3 Services being available.

From these varied backgrounds we can ensure that we have the right team members to fulfil any aviation training requirement. We have experience of delivering flying training for front and rear crew whether it be classroom based, utilising simulation or indeed airborne, from basic training to the use of advanced techniques and equipment. Our ability to deliver training to potential flying instructors, in their home Country and on their own aircraft type, to the exacting standards of CFS(H) by recently retired CFS(H) instructors, is a unique service unavailable anywhere else in the world.

Training packages are bespoke and tailored directly to our clients requirements, however examples of what we have previously provided range from a two man team “Standardising” a Police Aviation unit’s drills and SOPs during a 3 week visit, to the provision of a full time training team consisting of pilots and rear crew embedded in a host nations SAR unit for a 3 year period teaching them up to date techniques and SOPs, including the development and training of a number of home grown flying instructors guided by our ex CFS trainers.

If you have new equipment and want to introduce enhanced capability, or if you want to benefit from modern training techniques taught by experienced and operationally seasoned instructors, we can help. Please call our representative who will field your call in a timely and professional manner.
